This new church facility will be built on a 101.69 acre site of which 35% is buildable and the remainder is restricted by wetlands. Public water service is not accessible, so a well water system is designed for domestic water and fire suppression system usage. Also public sanitary sewers are not accessible, so a septic mound and drip irrigation system is designed.
There will be parking for 680 cars for Phase 1.
The Phase 1 Community Center is a two story building. It has a 1st floor with 59,027 square feet and a 2nd floor with 35,230 square feet. The main entrance to the Phase 1 Community Center is into the narthex or gathering area which has a café/bookstore. From that area all major areas can be accessed.
There is a multipurpose room or auditorium that will accommodate a NCAA basketball courts or two high school basketball courts. The room will be used as a temporary sanctuary that will seat 1510 people or a banquet room for 890 people at tables. To the rear of auditorium is a stage with a baptistery and green rooms with changing rooms behind.
Other areas adjacent to the auditorium are men’s and women’s restrooms/showers/locker rooms, and storage rooms.
There is a commercial kitchen adjacent to the auditorium that will service this room and the senior fellowship hall across the corridor. This fellowship hall will accommodate 600 people in a lecture setting or 460 people at tables.
The building has forty classrooms/meeting rooms, twenty of which will be used as offices until Phase 2 is completed. There are other restrooms throughout and also a bridal room.
