This project involved a six-story, 100,000 sf addition on the urban campus of one of the major healthcare providers in the City of Columbus.  The scope of this work included site improvements, structural steel framing, state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical systems, and a masonry envelope.  The top of the addition houses a heliport allowing the facility to receive the area's most critically ill and injured patients.  As a Construction Management Partner, Smoot Construction was involved with facility build out and startup.

This work also included the renovation of 40,000 sf of the Hospital's existing facilities.  Our efforts on this work included internal demolition, construction phasing so that normal hospital operations were not adversely impacted during the project, and mechnical and electrical system replacement and commissioning.
