Located in the West Edge Complex, as part of a revitalization project in historic Franklinton, this three-story, 89,000 sf building houses agency staff offices and the Central Ohio Regional Training Center.  A one-story wing serves as the Family Center.

The layout of the building includes 75 offices, 212 workstations, 5 training rooms (one of which can be further divided into three smaller rooms), a computer training room, a children's medical examination room, and 30 conference rooms of various sizes.  In addition, each floor contains restrooms and a kitchen/lunchroom area.  The building also houses the agency's mainframe computer in a climate-controlled room with a dry sprinkler system.

I have come to believe that Smoot Construction is an outstanding firm capable of the highest quality work resulting in construction of a facility that we are enormously proud to occupy.  I was personally very impressed b the professionalism and work ethic of your people as well as their attention to detail and customer satisfaction.  The complexity and the enormity of the task was incredible, and yet your company took up the challenge with a highly justifed sense of confidence in its own capability to produce a quality product.  You have produced a wonderful new home on time and on budget.  I can only say that you and Smoot Construction lived up to every word of the commitment you made.
