Primary Responsibility:
Under the supervision of licensed architect, prepare construction drawings, bid documents, and construction administration, for multi-million dollar religious based projects.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare conceptual designs including building plans, elevations and site plans.
- Prepare details, building sections, wall sections, finish and door schedules for construction documents.
- Review construction documents for completion.
- Prepare quantity take-offs for cost estimates.
- Coordinate construction architectural construction documents with civil engineering, structural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical engineering design documents.
- Review shop drawings and other submittals during the construction phase.
Skills, Knowledge, Education, and Experience requirements may include:
- Bachelor of Architecture or its equivalent.
- Six months experience in an architects office.
- Knowledge of construction technology, building codes and standards.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
- Communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and computer skills required.
