Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for preparing construction drawings, bid documents, and construction administration, including scheduling coordination with contractors and subcontractors for multi-million dollar religious based projects.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare conceptual designs including building plans, elevations and site plans.
- Manage construction documents, including architectural, civil engineering, structural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
- Provide a peer review of construction documents prepared by other offices.
- Review shop drawings and other submittals during the construction phase.
- Inspect construction and provide punch lists for completion of construction.
Skills, Knowledge, Education, and Experience requirements may include:
- Bachelor of Architecture or its equivalent.
- Three years experience in an architects office.
- Registered or nearly satisfying the requirements of registration in a state.
- Knowledge of construction technology, building codes and standards.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
- Communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and computer skills required.
- Ability to manage and coordinate civil engineering, structural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical engineering with architectural documents.
